The Current META Competitive Weapons in Black Ops 7 (As of November 17, 2025)

Black Ops 7 launched just a few days ago, and the multiplayer meta is already taking shape in early CDL community made modes. With omni-movement still king, the game rewards aggressive playstyles, laser-like recoil control, and fast TTKs. Right now, the M15 MOD 0 (the spiritual successor to the classic M4) has emerged as the go-to competitive Assault Rifle for anchoring, holding lanes, and mid-to-long range fights. Pairing it with the Dravec 45 gives you the perfect AR/SMG duo or full-team aggression.
These two weapons are dominating high-level lobbies because of their forgiving recoil patterns, excellent mobility when built correctly, and ability to win the majority of gunfights in Hardpoint, Overload, and Search & Destroy.
1. M15 MOD 0 Assault Rifle – The Undisputed King of Competitive ARs
The M15 MOD 0 is unlocked from the start and feels like a modernized, laser-accurate M4. It has a fast TTK, predictable recoil, and shines on maps with longer sightlines. Pros players are spamming this gun because it beams while still being viable in closer fights thanks to omni-movement.

It's the spiritual MP5 successor but with better range and less bounce. Top fraggers are using it to dive bombs, flank hard, and clean up kills in Hardpoint hills.
