End User License Agreement (EULA)
Last Updated: November 2, 2026 · Version 2.2
Introduction
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and Major eLeagues ("MeL"). By accessing or using our platform, applications, or services, you agree to be bound by this EULA. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
Zero Tolerance Policy
MeL maintains a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for objectionable content and abusive behavior. We are committed to providing a safe, respectful environment for all users. Any violation of our content guidelines or abusive conduct will result in immediate action, including content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban without warning. By using MeL, you acknowledge and accept this zero tolerance approach to platform safety.
License Grant
Subject to your compliance with this EULA and our Terms and Conditions, MeL grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the application solely for personal, non-commercial use.
Prohibited Content - Zero Tolerance
MeL has ZERO TOLERANCE for the following types of content. Posting any of the following will result in immediate removal and disciplinary action: • Defamatory, discriminatory, or mean-spirited content targeting religion, race, sexual orientation, gender, national/ethnic origin, or other groups • Content that humiliates, intimidates, threatens, or harasses any individual or group • Explicit sexual or pornographic material of any kind • Realistic portrayals of violence, including people or animals being killed, maimed, tortured, or abused • Content encouraging or glorifying violence, illegal activity, weapons misuse, or self-harm • Hate speech, inflammatory religious commentary, or deliberately misleading information • Content depicting or promoting illegal drug use, underage drinking, or other illegal activities • Doxxing (revealing private personal information without consent) • Impersonation of another person, entity, or public figure • Copyrighted material uploaded without proper authorization • Content that capitalizes on tragedies, violent conflicts, terrorist attacks, or epidemics • Spam, malicious links, phishing attempts, or deceptive content • Any content that violates local, state, national, or international law
Competitive Trash Talk vs. Abusive Behavior
MeL recognizes that competitive gaming includes trash talk and banter as part of the culture. Competitive trash talk between players during matches is a normal part of gaming interaction and is permitted on our platform. However, behavior that crosses into genuine harassment, sustained targeting of individuals, threats of real-world harm, sexual harassment, doxxing, or coordinated abuse campaigns is prohibited and will result in disciplinary action. Users are expected to understand the difference between competitive gaming culture and genuinely abusive behavior that creates an unsafe environment.
Prohibited Abusive Behavior - Zero Tolerance
MeL has ZERO TOLERANCE for abusive users and abusive behavior, including but not limited to: • Bullying, harassment, stalking, or threatening other users • Coordinated attacks or brigading against individuals or groups • Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual advances • Hate speech or discriminatory language in any form • Doxxing or revealing another person's private information • Impersonation or identity fraud • Attempting to exploit, manipulate, or scam other users • Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or harass users • Any form of abusive conduct that creates an unsafe or hostile environment Abusive users will be immediately banned from the platform and may be reported to law enforcement where appropriate.
User-Generated Content
You are solely responsible for any content you submit or publish on MeL, including usernames, profile pictures (including animated GIFs), profile cover pictures, team profile pictures, team cover pictures, chat messages, tournament materials, and other user-generated content. You may upload common image formats (for example: .jpg, .png, .gif) subject to any size limits displayed in the app. By submitting content, you represent and warrant that: • You own or have the right to use all content you upload • Your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights • Your content complies with all provisions of this EULA, particularly our zero tolerance policies • You accept full responsibility for any consequences of posting prohibited content Content that violates these rules will be immediately removed and will result in account suspension or permanent termination.
Content Moderation & Reporting
MeL actively moderates all user-generated content to ensure compliance with our zero tolerance policies. Our moderation includes: • Automated filtering systems to detect and block prohibited content • Human review of flagged content and user reports • Proactive monitoring of public content, profiles, and communications • Regular audits of user-generated materials All users have the ability and responsibility to report objectionable content or abusive behavior through: • The in-app reporting feature available on all content and profiles • Our dedicated support channels accessible in the app settings • Email to our moderation team at support@majoreleagues.com We investigate all reports promptly and take action within 24-48 hours. Users who submit false or malicious reports to harass others will face disciplinary action.
Blocking & User Safety Tools
To protect yourself from unwanted interactions, MeL provides the following safety tools: • Block feature: You can block any user to prevent them from contacting you, viewing your profile, or interacting with you in any way • Mute feature: Temporarily hide content from users without fully blocking them • Privacy controls: Adjust who can contact you and view your information • Report feature: Immediately report users or content that violates our policies Blocked users cannot circumvent blocks by creating new accounts. Attempting to evade blocks is a violation of this EULA and will result in permanent ban.
Age Restrictions & Minor Safety
MeL is intended for users aged 16 and older. Accounts we determine to belong to a user under 16 are restricted and cannot use the service. Users between 16 and 18 require the consent and oversight of a parent or legal guardian. Anything involving real money is restricted to users we have confirmed as 18 or older. This includes entering any tournament that advertises a prize pool, holding or using the MeL Wallet, connecting a payout account, and withdrawing prize winnings. Users aged 16 and 17 keep full access to everything else on the platform. We confirm your age band using an age signal from your device operating system, or a one-time date of birth entry where your device cannot provide one. Providing false age information, or repeatedly submitting conflicting age information to try to unlock money features, is a violation of this EULA and may result in restriction or termination of your account and forfeiture of prize winnings. We take the safety of minors extremely seriously and have ZERO TOLERANCE for: • Any content or behavior that endangers, exploits, or targets minors • Sharing or soliciting inappropriate content involving minors • Adults attempting to contact minors inappropriately • Any violation of child safety laws Suspected child exploitation will be immediately reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement. Users who endanger minors will be permanently banned and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Tournaments, Hosts & Prizes
MeL provides a platform where third-party community hosts may run tournaments. Community hosts are responsible for their own event rules, prize offerings, and distribution. MeL does not guarantee or underwrite prizes offered by community hosts. By entering a community-hosted tournament you acknowledge and accept that the tournament terms (including prizes) are set by the host, and you participate at your own risk. If a host fails to honor their own posted prizes or rules, MeL may assist with information or investigations where appropriate, but MeL is not responsible for enforcing or paying out community host prizes. Participants must comply with tournament rules; violations may result in disqualification and account penalties. MeL-hosted tournaments are different. Prize pools for tournaments run by MeL are funded by MeL and paid to winners through the MeL Wallet, and MeL is responsible for those payments. MeL-hosted tournaments are free to enter, prizes are awarded on competitive skill and placement rather than chance, and no purchase or subscription is required to enter or to win. Community host prizes never pass through the MeL Wallet. Community hosts fund, hold, and distribute their own prizes outside our platform, and are solely responsible for verifying that their entrants meet any age, residency, tax, licensing, or other legal requirement that applies to their event and to the prizes they offer. As a baseline, we restrict registration for any tournament advertising a prize pool to users confirmed as 18 or over, but that baseline is a platform-wide safety measure and does not make MeL responsible for a host's event or discharge the host's own obligations.
Wallet, Payouts & Account Security
The MeL Wallet holds prize winnings from MeL-hosted tournaments. It is a ledger, not a bank account. You cannot deposit into it, send funds to another user, spend it on subscriptions, or earn interest on it. Balances are not covered by deposit insurance. Prize credits are held for a short review period before they can be withdrawn, and a prize obtained through cheating, collusion, account sharing, or any other violation may be cancelled or clawed back at any time, before or after payout. Payouts run through Stripe Connect. Stripe verifies your identity and collects your bank and tax details directly; we never see your full bank account number or your government ID. Payouts are only available where Stripe supports them and we have enabled them, and you are responsible for the taxes on any prize money you receive. Money always requires an authenticator code. Requesting a withdrawal, connecting or opening a payout account, and disconnecting one each require a fresh code from an authenticator app registered to your account. This cannot be waived, snoozed, or bypassed by contacting support. Passkeys sign you in; they do not authorize money. A passkey's private key is created and held by your device or credential manager and never reaches us - we hold only the public key and basic metadata. A passkey, biometric login, or saved password can never authorize a withdrawal. You are responsible for your credentials. Remove passkeys for devices you no longer control, keep your authenticator and recovery codes safe, and tell us immediately at support@majoreleagues.com if a credential is compromised. Losing every registered credential may leave you unable to reach your account or your balance, and we cannot bypass these protections for you. Full terms for the wallet, payouts, withdrawals, taxes, and what happens to a balance on termination or account deletion are set out in our Terms and Conditions.
Ladders, Queues & Party-Up Features
MeL provides ladders, matchmaking queues, and party-up features to facilitate fair competition. Users must follow all rules for these systems: do not exploit matchmaking, do not impersonate other players, and do not intentionally disrupt matches or queues. Abuse of these systems may lead to match penalties, ranking adjustments, or account suspension.
Streaming, Replays & Clips
If you link a streaming account, have your live stream shown on MeLTV or Discover, or submit clips to a match, Sections 10A, 10B and 10C of our Terms and Conditions apply, together with Sections 13A and 13B of our Privacy Policy. In short: you may submit only clips of your own gameplay from that match that you have the right to share; MeL may show your live stream and, for a limited time, replay links while featuring is on; MeL may hide clips, remove a linked account or suspend you from these features for violations; and embedded streams and clips are also governed by the terms of the platform that hosts them. Everything in this EULA, including the zero tolerance policies, applies to streams, replays and clips shown on MeL.
Cheating, External Assistance & Fair Play
Cheating is strictly prohibited. Cheating includes using hacks, exploits, third-party software, unauthorized hardware, account sharing to gain unfair advantage, collusion, match manipulation, or any external assistance that undermines fair competition. Evidence of cheating will result in immediate action including temporary suspension, permanent ban, and potential reporting to law enforcement for serious offenses.
Enforcement & Consequences
MeL enforces this EULA and our zero tolerance policies through: • Immediate content removal for any violation • Account warnings for first-time minor infractions • Temporary suspension (ranging from 24 hours to 30 days) for moderate violations • Permanent ban for serious violations, repeat offenses, or any violation involving threats, harassment, illegal content, or minor safety • Legal action and law enforcement reporting for criminal conduct MeL reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and take action at our sole discretion. For severe or criminal conduct, including but not limited to threats, doxxing, child exploitation, fraud, or other illegal activity, MeL will report incidents to appropriate law enforcement agencies and cooperate fully with investigations. Abusive behavior that attempts to manipulate our enforcement systems—such as submitting false reports, filing baseless disputes to harass other users, or creating new accounts to evade bans—will result in immediate permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement.
Appeals
If you believe a disciplinary action was taken in error, you may submit an appeal through the support channels provided in the app within 14 days of the action. Include all relevant evidence with your appeal. MeL will review appeals according to our internal processes and respond within 7 business days. Note: Appeals for violations involving threats, harassment, child safety, or illegal content are rarely overturned. Submitting fraudulent appeals or using the appeals process to harass staff or other users may result in permanent ban without further appeal rights.
Data & Privacy
Use of MeL is subject to our Privacy Policy. To enforce our zero tolerance policies and maintain platform safety, MeL collects, retains, and may share information necessary for investigations, including: • Content you post or upload • Communications and chat logs • Account activity and IP addresses • Device information • Information reported by other users This information may be shared with law enforcement when required by law or when we believe it is necessary to investigate illegal activity or protect user safety.
Your Responsibility
By accepting this EULA, you acknowledge that: • You have read and understand our zero tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior • You will not post prohibited content or engage in abusive behavior • You will report violations you encounter • You understand that violations will result in immediate disciplinary action • You accept full responsibility for all content and behavior associated with your account • You understand that serious violations may be reported to law enforcement
Changes to the EULA
MeL may update this EULA to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements or platform features. Each version of this EULA has a version number and an effective date, and the date of the current version is always shown at the top of this document. When we make a material change, we will tell you before or when it takes effect, by email to the address on your account and by a notice in the app. When a change requires your acceptance, we will ask you to review and accept the updated EULA in the app before you continue using MeL; if you do not agree, you may instead close your account. We keep a record of your acceptance, as described in Section 9A of our Privacy Policy.
